Preamble
"We are Catholic without compromise. We are faithful to the Church Jesus Christ established through the way we pray, what we believe, and how we live with the ultimate goal of being united with Christ in Heaven as Saints."
Mission Statement
"A Rosary group movement for families, Saints Helping with Adults and Youth (S.H.W.A.Y.), under the protection of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and St. Michael the Archangel, instills in its members through its prayer groups the sure way to Heaven: A love for Eucharistic Adoration with devotion to the Divine Mercy and Our Lady in the Most Holy Rosary."
Goals
Under the Episcopacy of the most Reverend Bishop Larry Silva, S.H.W.A.Y. seeks to execute the following goals:
UNIFIED PRAYER
In the true legacy of ecumenism, S.H.W.A.Y. seeks to gather Catholics in public prayer for the leaders of the Church, the conversion of sinners, and the poor souls in purgatory.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Recognizing the Eucharist as the source and summit of our Faith, S.H.W.A.Y. seeks to promote Eucharistic Adoration as a widely instituted and propagated practice to grow deeper in love for our Lord.
MARIAN DEVOTION
In following the legacy of the Church, S.H.W.A.Y. seeks to promote devotion to Blessed Virgin Mary, particularly through the Holy Rosary, First Saturday Devotion to the Immaculate Heart and 33 Day Consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary according to St. Louis De Montfort.
REPARATION
Following the message of Our Lady of Fatima, S.H.W.A.Y. seeks to promote a lifestyle of daily prayer, penance, frequent attendance of daily Mass, and offering sacrifices for those most in need of mercy, both living and dead.
CATHOLIC IDENTITY
The axiom “Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi, Lex Vivendi” connotes a connection between how we pray, what we believe, and how we live. S.H.W.A.Y. seeks to provide reflections on the lives of the Saints, who are examples of those who lived as they prayed, heroically living out Catholic identity.
